When I think of the Annual Calendar complication, a watch that only needs to be reset on leap years, a steel watch does not come to mind. The Pateks, Breguets and even Rolexes of the watchmaking world don't make an annual calendar in steel, reserving this complication for precious metal pieces with price points in the $30,000-$50,000 range. This steel Aqua Terra contains this wonderful complication, and does so in a very subtle way. It requires no pushers and the dial is uncluttered, unlike most annual calendars. This is a watch that dresses up or down and is rugged enough to wear doing just about anything, every single day of your life. You'll never need to adjust it or even think about it, except on February 29th. If I could limit myself to only one watch, it would be a piece like this. - P.J.
