Stainless Steel, high grade aftermarket bracelet with original Rolex buckle, 18k white gold fluted bezel, silver dial, automatic Chronometer (Cal. 3135), date, screw-down crown, Ref. 16234, ca. 1992, 36mm, Like New- Width: 36 mm / Height: 44 mm / Thickness: 12 mm / Lug Width: 20 mm
The 16234 "sapphire quick-set" is a discontinued model. It was replaced with the Rolex 116234 in 2006. The 16234 first hit the market in 1987. At that time, Rolex updated the movement to the 3135 and began using a sapphire crystal. The prior model was the 16014 which had the (quick-set) 3035 caliber and a plastic crystal.
