Although not pictured, this watch also has the outer corrugated Panerai box. This model was recently discontinued and replaced by Panerai with the PAM001000 model. Unfortunately, the newer model is objectively less nice than this edition. The new model is missing several key Panerai features, screw-down caseback, heavy screws for securing the band and diving rated water resistance. We feel the early editions such as this should see a surge in value as a result.
