This Seiko SpringDrive Titanium Chronograph is totally unique. The SpringDrive concept was first conceived by a Seiko engineer in 1977. After many prototypes and years of R&D, SpringDrive was introduced in 2005. Sadly, the inventor died just months before the roll-out.
The all-Titanium chrono is one of just 300 made. The movement contains 416 hand-finished parts. The completely smooth sweep of the running seconds and the stopwatch hands is not found on any other watch at any price. There's also date, GMT and power reserve complications. Sapphire crystals front and back. The edition sold out at the full MSRP of $5995. The packaging and documentation are truly impressive. The Seiko SpringDrive Titanium Chronograph is very reasonably priced and very wearable. This is a true Limited Edition.
