PJ’s Watch (Panerai) Notes of the Week

Panerai all over the place!
We have the largest selection of preowned Panerai we’ve ever had.  We frequently sell these watches too quickly to ever have a wide range of models, but we went on a pre-holiday buying spree and posted them all at once.

Luminor Marina 1950 42mm : PAM 392

This is a new size offering from Panerai, a 42mm Luminor 1950.  This finally bridges the gap between the traditional 40mm and 44mm cases.  This is a size that many of us have been waiting for.

Luminor Submersible : PAM 25

One of Panerai’s earliest modern designs, this model has been around since the late 90s, but has always had a very limited production (fewer than 800 were produced in the M series).  Titanium is a little used metal in Panerai’s model lineup and the PAM 25 would be interesting for this reason alone, however the hobnail dial is almost unique for the brand. Panerai has only offered a hobnail dial on one other model number, the long discontinued PAM00028.

Luminor 1950 3 Days Automatic : PAM 312

Completely unworn with a recent purchase date, this will make a fantastic present and its over $1000 less than $8,300 retail.  If you don’t mind some gentle wear, our ID PAN299 is an even better deal at $5895 and it comes with both black and brown crocodile strap.

Luminor GMT : PAM 160

This rare GMT on bracelet was made for only two years with only around 2100 total pieces ever produced.  — if you don’t fancy the bracelet, we have a similar model on brown alligator (PAM00159) our ID PAN314, it was also made for a very short period.

Radiomir Black Seal : PAM 183

This is the classic Radiomir Black Seal, manual wind with sandwich dial. With a purchase date in August and a grading of 99%, it would pass for new even under close inspection. —   If you don’t mind a little wear, you can save about $400 by checking out our ID: PAN325, iti s the same model, a few years older, but in great shape with a beautiful brown
