Radiomir 1940 : PAM00512

Stainless Steel, black alligator strap with tang buckle, black sandwich ''dirty'' dial, manual wind (P.999/1), small seconds, display back, 60-hour power reserve, Ref. PAM 512, papers dated April 2015, 42x48.5mm, Retail = $7,200, Like New in Box with Papers

The PAM00512 model was one of the first Panerai we encountered that we could call elegant. The Radiomir 1940 bears neither the wire lugs of the regular Radiomir or the crown guard of the Luminor 1950 case, but contains DNA of both models. It is considerably thinner than most Panerai's at 11.5mm and at 42mm wide, it borders on dressy. The 512 owes its thinness to the P.999/1 manual wind caliber, which still holds an impressive 60 hour power reserve. We also love the aged 'dirty' luminous which is becoming a regular feature for Panerai.
