Battery changes for this model require a complete overhaul at Sinn in Germany in order to change the HYDRO-oil. Fortunately, the battery lasts approximately seven to eight years and was changed on this watch recently in December 2018.
A HYDRO oil-filled case means perfect legibility underwater, no fogging and no deformation under high pressure.
