A13356 Watches

The A13356 was introduced in 2005 as the Chronomat Evolution. The new model kept the reliable Breitling Caliber 13 (a modified ETA Valjoux 7750) that Breitling had been using for over a decade. The evolution over the A13352 lies in the significantly larger case at 43.7mm wide and 17mm thick. The prior model was a more modest 40mm wide and 14.5mm thick. The Evolution is sometimes referred to as the "Chronomat 44mm".

In 2008, the A13356 dropped the Evolution from the name to simply the "Chronomat". In 2012, the watch was again renamed, this time to "Chronomat Calibre 13" which we speculate was to avoid confusion with their new Chronomat B01 which has their in-house movement. 2012 was the last year the A13356 was available in Breitling stores.

It is a great model with a fantastic movement. It is offered in more dial, band, and metal combinations than any other Breitling line.
