Warranty Info
Our used watches have a 90 day "good will" warranty covering the functions and the internal mechanics of the watch. We believe this gives plenty of time to realize any problem we may have missed beyond timing the watch on our timing machine. We like to keep our used watches priced competitively and the cost of warranting them for longer would result in higher prices...for a service most people don't ever use.
For your comfort, an optional one-year warranty is available on these pieces and is figured on an individual basis. Let us know if you would like this option.
Let this Laco Vintage B-Uhr transport you back to the skies of World War II. This is no mere wristwatch; it's a statement of history and precision. Housed in gray-varnished steel, the 55mm case demonstrates the utilitarian spirit of the original German Air Force navigators' watches designed for legibility and worn outside the pilot's flight jacket.
Beneath the plexiglass crystal lies a Type B black dial with original radium markers and hands. The manually wound 22 jewel Durowe D5 caliber beats inside with hacking seconds, an essential pilot's feature. The original oversized crown facilitates easy winding and time adjustment, even with gloved hands.
The extra-long riveted strap secures this piece of history to your wrist. This example, reference 127-560B / FL 23883 is dated to 1943 to 1945 and is in near mint condition, carefully preserved. Note that the varnish is believed to have been repainted. The Reichluftfahrtsministerium (RLM), the German Ministry of Aviation specified that such models be gray-varnished to protect against wear and reduce reflection.
