Dual Time Zone Watches Watches
The concept of the time zone watch -- a timepiece that shows two or more distinct times on its dial -- was first realized in 1954 with the Rolex GMT-Master. An innovation brought about by an increase in long distance air travel, these watches usually come in a simple dual time zone option, Greenwich Mean Time complication, or a world time zone feature, which has an outer bezel listing major world cities. While few models were available during the 1950s and 1960s, nearly every major Swiss brand has at least one dual time zone model today.
